Three new Beaumont businesses to open soon.
Three new Beaumont retail businesses are set to open in the coming months. All three businesses will be located at the 2nd Street Marketplace, Beaumont.Beaumont City Manager Alan Kapanicas announced at the Tuesday night city council meeting that Best Buy will open in April. He also stated that Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Pet Co. will open in May.Best Buy is scheduled to open April 25, according to Developer Gary Hanshaw of Hanshaw Properties. The company has already joined the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Director of Marketing Autumn Young said.General Contractor Richard H. Borden Engineering and Construction, Inc. spokesman Tom Rowe said that Bed, Bath, and Beyond is scheduled to open May 5 and Pet Co on May26.Staples office supply is set for a June 15 grand opening.The Ross clothing store is looking to open up in early July, Rowe said.
