Fond du Lac City Council set to approve Fox Ridge Business Park land prices.
The Fond du Lac City Council is set to approve land prices and regulations for the Fox Ridge Business Park this week.
The city could start construction of the 276-acre park on the southern edge of the city this year as Fond du Lac”s other industrial parks are filling up, said Community Development Director Wayne Rollin.
The City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in the City County Government Center, 160 S. Macy Street.
If approved by the council, land prices in the park will start at $32,000 per acre, below the average price of other industrial developments in the region, according to city documents. More valuable parcels along Highway 41 would cost $50,000, Rollin said.
The proceeds of the land sales will be used to help the city recoup the costs associated with building the park, Rollin said.
